Our flagship leadership program is growing.
In 2027, Transport Australia will welcome a record 60 Fellows from across Australia and New Zealand, creating our strongest and most connected cohort yet.
The Fellowship is designed for high-potential leaders with around 8 to 15 years’ experience who are ready to step up, broaden their influence and help shape the future of transport.
For member organisations, this is a powerful investment in the people you want to retain, develop and see lead.
Fellows gain:
- one-to-one mentoring with a senior industry leader
- access to a national and trans-Tasman peer network
- exposure to new organisations, modes and jurisdictions
- opportunities to contribute to live industry and policy challenges
- greater confidence, visibility and leadership capability

2027 program details
- Places available: 60
- Who should apply: Leaders with around 8 to 15 years’ experience, or equivalent responsibility and leadership potential
- Eligibility: Employees of Transport Australia member organisations
- Program fee: $10,000 plus GST, paid by the member organisation
- Travel: Transport Australia covers hotel accommodation for non-local Fellows. Employers cover flights and other transport costs.
The 2027 Fellowship will bring together the next generation of regional leaders, strengthen policy exchange and build relationships that can move ideas across organisations, projects and borders.
